Sakura in Full Bloom Santoku Knife
Sakura in Full Bloom Santoku Knife
A 165mm santoku forged from white steel — the high-carbon steel favored by professional Japanese knife makers for its exceptional edge sharpness and ease of resharpening. The blade takes a keen edge and holds it through daily use; when it eventually dulls, a few passes on a whetstone bring it back fully.
The handle carries a cascade of cherry blossoms in cream, pale yellow, and gold against a deep navy lacquer ground — soft and luminous, evoking the brief, full peak of sakura season. Part of the Saiki Saido series, a collection of knives inspired by the four seasons of Japan. Made in Japan.
