A lidded box holding 120 sheets of Mino washi origami, 12 printed patterns with 10 sheets of each. The prints are bright and graphic rather than traditional: yellow and green plaid, pink and blue brick stripes, scalloped waves, daisies, scattered dots and soft flower shapes, mostly on a white ground so the colors stay clean when folded.
The sheets are 70mm square, noticeably smaller than standard origami, which makes them fast to fold and well suited to miniature cranes, tiny boxes, garlands and card toppers. Washi is firm and strong for its weight, so a crease at this size stays sharp instead of going soft. The paper also cuts and tears well, so it doubles as chigiri-e collage material, notebook and planner decoration, and wrapping for very small gifts.
The box comes in 6 cover designs, each printed with one of the patterns from the set. Every box holds the same 120 sheets, and we ship whichever cover is on hand, so it may not be the one in the photos.
