A Mino ware sake set in a kiln-altered drip glaze — cream at the neck and rim, fading through amber into a deep brown-aubergine at the base. The glaze runs differently on every piece: the gradation, the drip pattern, and the depth of color are each unique to that individual tokkuri or cup. No two sets look exactly alike.
The tokkuri has a round, full belly and a narrow neck that pours cleanly. The two ochoko are cylindrical with a slight flare, cream-topped with dark drips running down the sides and pooling at the base. Both the tokkuri and cups are microwave and dishwasher safe — practical enough for everyday use, distinctive enough for guests. Made in Japan.
