Hot Spring Maneki-neko Cotton Tenugui Towel

A white maneki-neko raises its paw from a turquoise hot spring beneath a red bathhouse curtain. Navy wave borders, stepping stones, and a small white cat complete the scene. This Hamamonyo cotton tenugui towel is made in Japan using nassen, a traditional Yokohama stencil-dyeing technique.

Use the absorbent cotton cloth as a hand towel or gift wrap, or display it vertically to show the full beckoning-cat illustration.

First Wash & Care

First wash: We recommend hand washing separately before use, as dark colors may release a small amount of dye.

• Hand wash at a maximum of 40°C (104°F).
• Do not leave folded or stacked while wet, as colors may bleed.
• Line dry in shade.
• Oxygen bleach may be used; do not use chlorine bleach.
• Iron at a maximum soleplate temperature of 150°C (302°F).
• Do not dry clean.
• Unhemmed ends may fray initially. Trim loose threads with scissors; fraying naturally settles.
