A square memo pad celebrating Genyu, a beloved old private house public bathhouse nestled at the foot of Kitano Tenmangu Shrine in Kyoto. Taken over by Yutonamisha in 2019, Genyu charms visitors with fish motifs hidden throughout the bathrooms, a spacious tatami relaxation area, a second-floor gallery, and a flea market-style corner run by a mysterious brother dealing in secondhand books and clothing. Its distinctive logo was drawn by Tsutomu Date, an illustrator with a deep love of public baths.
Part of the Gokuraku Sento Meguri series — a collaboration between forme. and local public bathhouses — this memo pad brings the warmth of Kyoto sento culture into your everyday stationery. Made in Japan.
